Patrik Deuss, the founder and CEO of LEDCity, recognized during his studies as an energy and environmental engineer at the ZHAW that a massive amount of electricity was being consumed in the lighting sector and that virtually no innovation had been seen for some time. Convinced of the immense potential for savings, he developed an initial prototype as part of his bachelor's thesis. With the idea of "lighting on demand", he started the company LEDCity together with Florian Gärtner in 2017.

Christian Marty's first venture was Schlaumacher GmbH, founded in 2017 - a tutoring school based in Zurich that still exists today. In 2020, the second venture followed: evulpo. evulpo is now the largest learning platform in Switzerland and one of the largest learning platforms in Europe. Besides his academic and entrepreneurial activities, Christian occasionally works as a journalist: He portrayed influential thinkers of the 20th century, covering topics like freedom, capitalism or bureaucracy, for example for the NZZ.

Since May 1, 2022 – Markus Naef has taken over the position as CEO @ bexio; one of Switzerland’s leading SaaS provider. In addition to this activity, Markus Naef holds various (board of directors) mandates, including serving as a member of the board of directors of ewl AG. He is also a member of the SteerCo of digitalswitzerland. In 2020, Markus Naef was awarded the title of Digital Shaper.

Moderation:
Joël Capt worked for Beekeeper, one of the fastest-growing startups in Switzerland, built one of the largest growth teams in the country, spoke in several panels, and supported the growth of countless companies. With Peakora, he now support start-ups in building the necessary systems to scale.
